(“LumaVet”, “we”) respects your privacy and is committed to handling your personal data in accordance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (the “PDPA”) and applicable international standards. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and your rights as a data subject.

2. Personal Data We Collect

Account data: name, email, phone, password (hashed), shipping/billing address.
Professional credentials (only for veterinarian and dealer applications): veterinary licence number, hospital/company name, business registration number, scanned credential images. Used only to verify professional status and grant member pricing.
Order data: products purchased, order amount, payment method, delivery address, transaction date.
Browsing data: IP address, browser/device type, pages viewed, referring URL, cookies and similar technologies.
Communication data: messages you send us through email, contact forms, phone calls, Line @lumavetThailand, or other channels.

We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age.

3. Why We Collect Your Data (Legal Basis)

Contract performance: process and fulfil your orders, deliver products, provide after-sales service and warranty.
Legal obligations: Thai tax records (Revenue Department), accounting, customs documentation, regulatory filings.
Legitimate interest: security, fraud prevention, site improvement, professional credential verification.
Consent: marketing emails, newsletters, promotional notifications — you may withdraw consent at any time.

4. Who We Share Your Data With

We share personal data only when necessary:

Shipping carriers (Kerry, Flash, Thailand Post, freight forwarders) — name, address, phone.
Payment processors — payment information is processed directly by the processor; we do not store card numbers.
Equipment manufacturers / service partners — only when warranty or installation requires it, limited to product, address and contact.
Thai government authorities — when required by law (Revenue Department, Thai FDA, customs).
IT service providers — hosting, email and analytics, bound by confidentiality.

We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

5. International Data Transfer

Some service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics) may process data outside Thailand. Where this occurs, we ensure equivalent safeguards through contractual clauses or providers’ certified frameworks, as permitted under the PDPA.

6. Data Retention

Account data: kept while your account is active, plus 5 years after closure.
Order and tax records: 10 years (Thai Revenue Code requirement).
Professional credential images: kept until 1 year after account closure or successful credential renewal.
Marketing data: until you withdraw consent.
Browsing data: typically 12 months.

7. Your PDPA Rights

Under the Thai PDPA you have the right to:

Access your personal data we hold.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention requirements).
Restrict or object to processing.
Receive your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent for marketing communications.
Lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee of Thailand (PDPC).

8. Cookies

We use cookies for essential site functions (shopping cart, login session), analytics (visitor counts, traffic sources), and to remember your preferences. You may disable cookies through your browser, but parts of the site (cart, checkout, member pricing) require cookies to function.

9. Security

We protect your data with HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, access controls, and regular security review. No internet service is 100% secure; if a breach affecting your data occurs, we will notify you and the PDPC within 72 hours of discovery as required by law.

10. Children

This Site is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will notify you by email.
