Compact compressor nebulizer for veterinary aerosol therapy, producing 4 µm (MMD) particles at up to 0.2 mL/min from an oil-free piston pump, with animal face masks for multiple species.

SKU: VCN2 Category:

Compressor nebulizer delivering 4 µm aerosol to the lower respiratory tract of canine and feline patients.

Product Overview

VCN2 veterinary compressor nebulizer - compact main unit with nebulizer cup, mouthpiece and air tubing

The VCN2 is a compressor (jet) nebulizer for veterinary respiratory therapy. An oil-free lubricated piston pump drives the nebulizer cup at 60–130 kPa, producing a mist with a mass median diameter of 4 µm ± 25% that reaches the trachea, bronchi, and alveoli.

A maximum nebulization rate of 0.2 mL/min, residual volume of ≤ 1.0 mL, and ≤ 60 dB(A) operating noise suit in-clinic and ward aerosol therapy. Species-appropriate face masks and a grid cooling design support repeated treatment sessions throughout the day.

Key Features

  • Fine aerosol: 4 µm ± 25% MMD for deposition in the lower respiratory tract
  • Stable, continuous mist output at up to 0.2 mL/min for even dosing
  • Oil-free lubricated piston pump — clean compressed air and extended pump service life
  • Low noise: ≤ 60 dB(A) to limit patient stress during treatment
  • Low residual volume: ≤ 1.0 mL of medication left in the cup
  • Compatible with a range of nebulizable medications; no water added to the cup
  • Animal face masks in skin-friendly, odor-free material that can be disinfected daily
  • Grid cooling design for stable operation across repeated daily sessions

Clinical Applications

  • Aerosol therapy for upper and lower respiratory tract disease in canine and feline patients
  • Delivery of nebulized bronchodilators, mucolytics, and antimicrobials as prescribed by the clinician
  • Airway humidification and supportive respiratory care for hospitalized patients
  • Repeated scheduled nebulization sessions in the ward and isolation unit

Workflow & Operating Notes

  • Fill the nebulizer cup with the prescribed medication; no water is added to the cup
  • Connect the cup to the compressor with the air tube and fit the appropriate face mask
  • Run continuously for the treatment session; the grid cooling design supports repeated sessions through the day
  • Disinfect the face mask after each patient; the mask material tolerates daily disinfection
  • Do not operate in the presence of flammable anesthetic gas mixtures
