A 12.1-inch modular veterinary monitor that expands from six core parameters to full anaesthetic-gas, capnography and invasive-pressure monitoring through plug-in modules.

Product Overview

VP12 12.1-inch modular veterinary multi-parameter monitor with large-font SpO2, respiration, NIBP, temperature and ECG display

The VP12 is the modular member of the range: a 12.1-inch monitor with a dual-slot plug-in design that accepts IBP, mainstream or sidestream ETCO2 and anaesthetic gas (AG) modules. ECG, NIBP, SpO2, RESP, dual-channel TEMP and HR/PR are standard; BIS, a touch screen and a built-in recorder are available as options.

The AG module measures CO2, N2O, sevoflurane, isoflurane and enflurane, giving the anaesthetist agent concentrations on the same screen as haemodynamics. A 600 MHz DSP co-processing core, 96-hour trend review, external USB storage and VGA/HDMI output make the VP12 suited to theatre, ICU and teaching environments where anaesthetic depth and ventilation must be documented.

Clinical Applications

  • Inhalation anaesthesia monitoring of sevoflurane, isoflurane, enflurane and N2O via the AG module
  • Anaesthetic depth assessment with optional BIS
  • Invasive arterial pressure monitoring for high-risk canine and feline anaesthesia
  • Ventilation assessment with mainstream or sidestream capnography in intubated and spontaneously breathing patients
  • ICU and critical-care surveillance with 96-hour trend review
  • Teaching and referral theatres, using VGA/HDMI output to a secondary display

Workflow & Installation Notes

  • Select the module set at order: IBP, ETCO2 and AG occupy the dual plug-in slots; configuring ETCO2 and IBP together requires an additional plug-in module box

Why Choose the VP12

  • Workflow: one monitor carries haemodynamics, capnography and anaesthetic agents, removing a separate gas analyser from the anaesthesia station
  • Workflow: 96-hour trends, USB export and alarm-triggered printing support complete anaesthetic records
  • Clinical accuracy: agent-specific AG readings and optional BIS support precise titration of inhalant anaesthesia
  • Clinical accuracy: defibrillation and electrosurgical-interference protection keep traces readable during surgery
  • Practice economics: modules are added as the case mix grows, so the practice purchases only the capability it uses today

Warranty & Support

Warranty terms for the main unit are confirmed at the time of order. Probes, cuffs, cables and other accessories follow standard wear-item terms.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which anaesthetic agents does the AG module measure?
CO2, N2O, sevoflurane, isoflurane and enflurane, with the ranges and accuracies listed in the AG specification table.
Can ETCO2 and IBP be installed at the same time?
Yes. Configuring both requires an additional plug-in module box alongside the main unit.
Is a touch screen available?
Yes. The touch screen is an ordering option on the VP12.
How long does the battery last?
The brochure specifies a 4000 mAh lithium battery with more than 4 hours of backup time. Confirm the battery supplied with your configuration at the time of order.
How does the VP12 differ from the VM12?
Both use a 12.1-inch display. The VP12 adds the modular slot system with AG and BIS options, an optional touch screen, VGA/HDMI output and 96-hour trend review; the VM12 is the key-and-knob general-purpose model with ETCO2 and dual IBP options.
